Ways to support LWCS
Listed below are a few different ways you can consider donating to Lake Worth Christian School should you feel called to give. Your gifts will make a difference now and for years to come.
CASH
Gifts of cash or checks made out to Lake Worth Christian School are the simplest and most popular means to donate. Please make sure you check with your employer to see if you can maximize the impact of your gift through a matching gift program.

GIFTS-IN KIND
You may wish to donate items for school use such as computers, office furniture and supplies. Other items of value may be appropriate for our annual fundraising events or sold for proceeds. Please call the Development office to discuss the acceptability of your gift and how to determine its value.
APPRECIATED SECURITIES
Assets such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds that have grown in value over the years may bring capital gains tax savings by deducting the full value of the gift on the date of transfer. Make sure to contact your tax professional to see.
CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITIES
These gifts are based on a donor’s age and may occur from appreciated assets. These gifts can provide a current charitable deduction as well as additional lifetime income.
MEMORIAL AND HONORARY GIFTS
These special gifts are a wonderful way to honor a loved one by giving in someone else’s name. These gifts may be applied to our Annual Fund or through other brick, plaque or building naming options available.
LIFE INSURANCE & LEGACY GIFTS
Designating Lake WorthChristianSchool as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy is a way that can make significant impact tomorrow through tax deductible premium payments today. Similarly, the inclusion of the School in your trust for a specific dollar amount or percentage provides for a bequest that allows for the use of your property today and estate tax benefits at the time of actual donation.
