Music Performance Class

The Fine Arts department at Lake Worth Christian School offers performance based classes in both vocal and instrumental education. Recognizing that talent is a gift from God, students are encouraged to develop those talents through participation in music classes. Instrumental music classes offered are Beginning and Advanced band for 6th grade students and Concert Band for 7th-12th grade students. Through mandatory participation in one of the Sixth grade bands, students are able to discover and develop their instrumental music skills on their chosen instrument in addition to studying elements of formal music theory. Students in the 7th-12th are given the opportunity to further develop their skills through a wide range of musical styles. Concert Chorus is offered to students in the 7th-12th grades. Students will focus on developing their vocal skills by studying a wide repertoire of significant vocal literature.
