Gary Welton has been teaching Bible, History and Psychology since 1976. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institutes minister’s training program. Gary also holds a BA degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master’s Degree in Teaching History and Religious Studies from Calvin College. Gary has been at LWCS since 1981. He chairs the Humanities Department and is the Director of the International Travel Program at LWCS. Gary has sponsored over forty tours and visited all the continents while touring over 80 nations. The Travel Studies Program which he co-founded combines classroom instruction with international travel. The Humanities classes Gary has written for LWCS combine: World History, Biblical History, Church History, World Religions, and Apologetics Classes. The Psychology Class Gary teaches takes a systems approach through which the students not only learn the schools of psychology but also evaluate them from a Christian perspective.
