Lamplighter Awards
2011-2012
Grades six and seven participate each year in the Lamplighter Award Reading Program. The mission of the Lamplighter Awards is to encourage students to read wholesome and uplifting books by providing lists each year of the best literature. Students who read eight or more of the ten titles attend a voting party in the library in April and cast their votes for the school favorite. The national winner is announced at a later date. Students who participate receive an award at the end of the year awards assembly.
