Children’s Gallery Awards
2011-2012
Grades two and three participate each year in the Children’s Gallery Award Reading Program. The mission of the Children’s Gallery Awards is to encourage young students to read wholesome and uplifting books by providing lists each year of the best literature. Students who meet the reading goal for their grade level attend a voting party in the high school library in April and cast their votes for the school favorite. The national winner is announced at a later date. Students who participate receive an award at the end of year awards assembly.
