Parents Guild
The Parent Guild is comprised of dedicated parent volunteers striving for Christian educational excellence by organizing and promoting extracurricular activities as well as assisting with school functions that benefit all of the school families of LWCS.

Some of the items we have been able to provide for our school through our fundraising efforts over the past several years are as follows:
 
  • Hurricane impact windows on middle school building
  • $1,000 and Sound equipment for music department
  • $1,000 Gift from the Heart for various school needs
  • Gutters for elementary building
  • Cabinets in elementary clinic
  • Two scholarships each year to graduating seniors based on community service (increased to $1,500 in 2010)
  • Picnic tables and umbrellas in lunch area and courtyard
  • Elementary playground equipment and mulch
  • Contributed to awnings that connect buildings
  • Contributed to awnings over bleachers on softball field
  • Contributed $5,000 to athletic complex fund
  • Contributed to Defender Sports Club to purchase basketball goals for outdoor court
  • $500 for banner in honor of the girls’ state champion basketball team
  • Funding for the Elementary Summer Reading Program
  • Host back to school Luncheon for teachers and staff
 
In addition to the above items, during the 2009-2010 school years, we were fortunate to provide the following:
 
  • $1,000 to Red Cross for Haiti Relief
  • Hoodies for the girls varsity soccer team
  • $2,000 to Elementary for technology needs
  • Varsity tennis team uniforms
  • Assistance with several other school needs
