Dear Stakeholders of LWCS,
It is my hope that all reading this letter had a fantastic summer. Now that we are back in school, I wanted to take a moment to bring you back up to date with regards to Development at the school. The Development Plan at Lake Worth Christian School continues to move forward. Our Gym renovation will be completed in September and an active Alumni Association, a viable Booster Club and a working Development Board are all in place. Students are enjoying a new lunch area adjacent to the Middle School given by the Parent Guild and we also have a new school website that will serve you as a central source of information on all activities associated with the school.
We invite our entire School Community to help make our plans an ongoing success as we seek volunteers to support all areas of our Development Plan. We are in need of committee members that will serve our annual auction, carnival and golf outings. In addition, we are looking for volunteers to serve on our capital campaign for the Child Development Center and Elementary School Expansion. Please call or stop by the Development Office to find out more about what is needed. You are cordially invited to join, volunteer and participate as Christian Leaders in our school community. This school year we are kicking off our Annual Fund Campaign: Create the Future Today. Information regarding the Annual Fund can be found online and the ability to make secure online donations is now available. As you know, the total cost of a LWCS education cannot be supported by tuition alone. Since 1959, our mission of Growing Christian Leaders has been achieved through your loving support in this shared goal. Your generosity helps insure that the next generations of Lake Worth Christian School students experience the same educational opportunities of past generations. In these uncertain times, our mission remains steadfast through your participation and donations.
Collectively, we give thanks for all our blessings and we invite you to pray on making a commitment to contribute towards our mission. As alumni, parents, grandparents and friends in the Christian Community, may God bless us in our stewardship decisions.
